Victoire's eyes widened at Remus' words. Where he had gotten all that from, she wasn't sure. "With all due respect, you really don't have the facts straight," she replied curtly. "I have never NOT allowed Teddy to do anything. Rather, I told him that I would support him in any decision he makes with regards to this family."
She sighed, finding the man positively ignorant when it came to his lover which was going to ruin his relationship with his son. "We were not ill-mannered to come after receiving the invitation, nor was it ill-mannered to thank Mrs. Malfoy for a nice meal. It was quite rude of your lover to being insulting me when I had no intention of speaking to him. I am also not going to stay quiet while he attempt to run over me."
She held up her hand. "I hope you realize what you are doing to your own son, when it comes to your lover. You really don't even know Teddy." Obviously the man didn't, nor did she think there was much interest there.
The next thing she knew was that her husband was pulling her from the room after thanking the Malfoys. This whole dinner was ridiculous as were these people, thinking they had manners and class.
