Belvina had enjoyed her past week in the castle. She had been busy reconnecting with people and making new acquaintances and, although she was still finding some things tough, she thought she was adapting relatively well.
The dinner was exquisite and she made sure to compliment Astoria on it several times. Of course, it was the house elves who had cooked the fare but Astoria had been a most gracious hostess in offering to have them all in her rooms for the evening. She didn't know a couple of the guests but she understood them to be Andromeda's grandson or Remus' son and his wife. A strange arrangement to be sure but she didn't pass comment.
She sipped at her champagne and looked around, glad to see smiles - whether genuine or fake - on people's faces. It really had been a wonderful evening.
