Andromeda swallowed, knowing Stephen's words were true. She had been telling herself to keep her head down, keep herself out of trouble. It was easier that way. Nobody bothered you if you kept quiet. You only ended up dead otherwise.
She had been part of the problem.
"I don't exactly have the words for my thoughts quiet yet and I'm not about to start flinging accusations at you. Not now." Not when her life had been uprooted yet again.
Andromeda shook her head and reached over to lay a hand atop her husband's. She did not fully understand the concept of one man loving another, but that could be as easily explained away as not truly understanding the concept of love in the first place. "This marriage wasn't what either of us wanted, but if you have a chance at happiness how can I help?"
