Charlie finished the spells and let Callum get him out of his wet jeans, and only when his legs were bare did Charlie really feel how cold it was - it was easier to ignore it when everything blended together.
"I know you don't." Charlie snorted, he'd just been distracted tonight - what with Callum's impromptu art design and making sure they were both on the same page with things down there in camp. But he didn't argue and instead got into the large bed - they really ought to just keep it like this, it was more comfortable and warmer to share sleeping arrangements. It really was no wonder people got the impression they were involved, but Charlie continued to chalk it up to the differences between living in the real world and those of them who'd lived on a reserve for years - the didn't really compare.
