He was a neighbor growing up, so when he found out I had magic, well, he told me all about it. So I was practically prepared, at least I liked to think so." The reality, of course, had been far different, but she'd known more about what to expect than other Muggleborns, so in that she was very lucky.
"I think we all have volatile feelings where she's concerned. She's a disgrace to wizardry, no matter her name or pedigree. All of her ilk are." She wasn't about to hide her feelings on that, not when it seemed the Belvina shared them to a point. "You don't have to worry about speaking plainly with me. I prefer it. And we women have to stick together."
She laughed a little. "I can imagine it was something of a shock, I'm not surprised you were sidetracked." She gave the woman another little grin. "All that matters is you got him there eventually. It must have been a shock for him too. Luckily, he had someone who knew both him, and how to explain his situation."
