"Sort of," Lily replied, though she had a feeling she was missing something. She didn't let it bother her, because Belvina had no reason to tell her everything. They didn't even know one another. "Yes, they do. Much smaller than trains though, and normally used for less than six people at a time. Muggles use them to go places that are too far for walking, like we'd use Portkeys if we couldn't Apparate." And even for a Muggleborn, it was easy to admit that Wizards had it easier when traveling, as long as they didn't Splinch themselves.
"You're right about that," she said, feeling a sharp pain for two little boys who'd been taught such Dark Arts at an early age. They'd turned out differently, but in the past months they'd become brothers again, and she couldn't fault Sirius for making amends. Family was everything.
"I think Alastor Moody is officially in charge of defense and training, but Regulus wouldn't be a bad place to start. At this point, I think all help is welcomed." She smiled. "Besides, you probably know a few things that have been forgotten, or rarely used, just as we know spells that weren't invented yet. Even more of that now, spell creation seems to be something of fad."
She still smiled, because Belvina was making light of what was a very generous act. "It could have cost you a lot, if the information had been intercepted by the wrong people, because I'm sure they wouldn't have looked kindly upon someone like you, a member of the Minister's right hand woman's family, corresponding with rebels." If she'd known Belvina better, of if Belvina hadn't been a Black, she would have reached out to squeeze the other woman's hand. But given what she knew of the Blacks, she didn't think it would be appreciated, so kept her hands in her lap.
