"Thanks," he said, cheeks a little red from the praise. "I suppose if I have to, I'll register." He grinned cheekily, because he'd planned to anyway, but it was fun to pretend that he'd have been an outlaw. "I have a long way to go, but it's easier with someone explaining the steps they went through. Bryn's not a bad teacher."
He imagined for a minute what it would be like to finally achieve his goal, and take flight as his animagus form, and the thought was such a happy one he didn't think he'd have trouble the next time he had to conjure a Patronus.
There was something else he'd wanted to ask his mum, and now was as good a time as any to do so. "Um, I can't believe I'm asking this, but what about classes? I mean, regular classes. School would have started tomorrow, but no one's said anything about business going on as usual."
And he really couldn't believe he was asking this, what kid wanted to start classes back up again, but to be honest he was starting to get bored with working with plants all day, even with the training classes, and having homework would make for something of a change.
