Stephen nodded. "I find it completely irrelevant," he answered. "I'm married; I alway knew that I'd get married. I think we've pretty much said anything there is to say about the subject. My preferences are personal and have no impact on you or mother."
He frowned. "I don't know what you think about me and Andromeda, but we're fucking. The annulment has nothing to do with that. I'm not going to be married to someone I don't love, at least not yet," he said. "You can expect a child when I'm ready, which is not any time soon. There is no reason for me to rush. I'm only twenty-five and if we make it out of this war, life expectancy is at least another hundred years. I have no reason to rush."
He sighed, because he really didn't want to have this discussion with his father. Who he fucked wasn't anyone's business, but he doubted that his father would let it go. "He's a friend. He's been a friend for years. We drifted apart, because... you and his father, basically. It's much easier with one night stands, especially Muggles. No idea who I am, they'll never find me again and never a rumour. I've always made sure to stay away from the wizarding world. Azriel is the only one who knows, for obvious reasons." It didn't really answer the question, at least not directly, but it was still an answer.
