James snorted at Alastor's comment. Definitely enough sharing all ready. "We'll leave that to Marlene. I'm sure she's happier to hug you than we would."
With that out of the way, they were left with the important things. "All right, we can trust her not to fuck us over out of self-interest." With Slytherins, he was learning that it was as good as he was going to get. "I'd still like minimal notice. It's not even a matter of trust. She could compromise us without even wanting to."
He shrugged off Alastor's question. "Belvina would probably feel more comfortable with me, but Remus is probably a better choice when it comes to the Regulus, and he has the advantage of knowing if something is wrong. I can still go with them as back up, but I'd say four to six people. Severus would have to decide who he thinks his mother would trust enough.
Looking at the two of them, he smirked. "Does it have to be a one off? I mean, we are most effective when we go out and attack or when we make contact with the outside. Let Regulus contact his Slytherins, maybe with their support, a few safe houses on the outside, and using the Muggle world, we might be able to get to London and do some serious damage. We can stop hiding here and make an impact out there."
