The events of last night, though naturally shocking for you, was I'm afraid entirely of your own doing. I would, normally, have intervened to protect any member of my family, but Rabastan is family too and I do trust his judgement. He would not have punished you if you did not warrant punishing. I do, however, regret his decision to allow Greyback to aid him, as it was unreasonably harsh.
As for me being 'disowned' as you put it there is only one way for you to know such a thing, which can only mean that you have - secretly and illegally - been in contact with the rebels at Hogwarts. Such actions hardly speak of the loyalty you pretend to have shown me. Indeed it comes with severe punishment by the law.
I offered you my home and my protection, but you refused both, preferring protection from others. They did not come to your aid last night, and I do not see why they would have as they are not family at all. Had you taken me up on my offer when it was made, you would have been protected. You would also have known proper behaviour when speaking to the leaders of this country. Grayback might not be of our social standing, but he is one of the Heads of Department in our society, and does, therefore warrant respect. Rabastan is every bit your equal, as well as by marriage your kin, and require both respect and obedience. All these things you would have known had you taken me up on my, repeated, offers of protection and companionship.
As you are understandably upset at the moment, I will let your heated words pass this once, but if you are to repeat them, do know that they'll come with consequences. Again, and only this once, I can offer you a protection you cannot receive anywhere else. The rebels will be killed, Hogwarts will once again be a school, and you will be found. Only in my company will you ever be safe.
