RP: Regulus & Belvina
Who: Belvina & Regulus Black
Where: House-elf delivery to Hogwarts
When: August 28th, 2025 (late)
Summary: Belvina fills Regulus in on the night's events.
Belvina didn't wait till the morning after. She didn't even wait till she'd cleaned herself up properly and made herself feel human again. Instead, she'd asked a house-elf to run her a bath and stood to write the owl, already feeling terrible after having to sit at the wedding. She still couldn't believe Rabastan had forced her back out into the wedding. As if she hadn't been through enough humiliation already.
She hated herself. Not for speaking up in the first place - although that hadn't been a wise idea - but for what they had both done to her. For that hex, for the pleasure, for the unending pain afterwards. A werewolf had taken her virginity. Fenrir Greyback at that and she knew had been intentional, to remind her that no matter how high-class she was, she had no choice in this current government and absolutely no power. Belvina covered her mouth as she fought the urge to be sick. She wouldn't give them the satisfaction.
She was also still amazed that nobody had lifted a finger to help. She hadn't expected anything - well, maybe a token protest - but no help at all had been forthcoming. Was this really how it was? That nobody stuck up for anybody else? She couldn't see herself being so selfish.
Dear Regulus,
I was violated by both Fenrir Greyback and Rabastan Lestrange tonight at Macnair's wedding. I fear most of it was my own fault; I suggested that Rabastan didn't tear my clothes off on the table at the wedding reception and he seemed to take exception to it.
I won't go into the details but suffice to say that, psychologically, I'm not at my best right now. I also fear that this isn't the end of it, not whilst Lilith is pregnant and Rabastan cannot play his usual games with her. Is there any way you can either get me into Hogwarts or help me get out of the country? I'm not staying here and awaiting round two. I'm scared
It's obvious that the Notts cannot offer me sufficient protection. Nobody stood up to Rabastan or Fenrir at the wedding tonight, not even Bellatrix. That speaks volumes as it is.
Fondly,
Belvina
