Re: After dinner - Theo, Pansy, Belvina
"We'll arrange for potions against deceases as well," Theo assured her. "There are a few in this day and age and given circumstances, I would not want to take chances," he said calmly, thinking that neither Greyback or Rabastan Lestrange would care too much about who they raped.
Though as much as he trusted Belvina, as much as he wanted to agree that yes this was indeed wrong and something should be done about it, he could hardly be absolutely sure that something hadn't been arranged while their stay to ensure that Rabastan would know everything he said. A spell, the Imperius, just a threat of new rapes if she did not comply to spy on them? As much as he hated it, he had to tread lightly.
"We'll of course assist you in any way that we can," he said softly, because that could easily be interpreted as wanting to help her deal with this.
When it came to Katherine and the state of their world however, he could not afford such a casual statement. "Things are the way they are, Belvina," he said. "It would be dangerous for anyone trying to oppose the system, there are strict laws against that now, most of them resulting in death or imprisonment for anyone opposing the system, in words or actions." A word of warning, of laws he hated but had helped create because there was no other choice. No one could claim he opposed the system because he warned someone of the repercussions of the law however. He still wished he could offer more comfort than that. "Just be careful, Belvina," he added softly. He didn't want her to get into any more trouble than she was already in.
