Re: After dinner - Theo, Pansy, Belvina
"Of course," Theodore assured her, looking at his wife. Pansy was by no means a woman too old to have children, potions for that purpose was already at the manor. "You do not need to worry about that, I assure you. You'll have the potion the moment we return to the manor."
He followed her gaze to Katherine and sighed. "Her parents should have taken her out of the country," he said, and it was the first he'd uttered that out loud but in present company he was quite sure it was safe to say such a thing. "We've known Katherine since she was a child, she is just a few years younger than our Charlotte was." If given half a chance he would have protected his daughter. He wished he'd been able to protect Belvina.
"I'm not sure what can be done when he has the law on his side," he said. "Perhaps a friendship, somewhere to go when it becomes too much will be a place to start." He doubted Katherine had many friends at the moment. They'd all stay far away to protect themselves. It was how the world worked.
