Marlene had to laugh at that. "Oh no, baby. I do get it. I can't imagine living without emotions, good and bad, because the bad, you don't have the good. Sure, this hurts, a hell more than I can say, but if the price for peace were a life with without great happiness, without strange and powerful emotions, I would never pay that price, because once you give up your feeling, there's only insanity and isolation. I even get why Potter did something so stupid, because without someone doing that, there would be no parental and unconditional love, and that'd be rather sad."
