Re: Ron/Hermione
Ron nodded, always so easy for Hermione to read. "That's it exactly, it always seemed like he'd never die, no matter how many stupid things he did." And Harry had done his fair share of stupid things in his life, Ron being included in most of them of course. "I know it was." That much Ron could agree with easily, Harry was a damn bloody idiot, but he couldn't make himself be angry with him.
"We would have gone with him - probably with some better plan than run in and get yourself killed." Ron commented. He knew them well enough, Harry would have done whatever he could to get Lily back, and he and Hermione would have supported him, and helped him come up with something that might have actually worked.
Ron nodded glancing for a moment at his godson, Jamie had shown remarkable strength and responsibility through all of this - but now? With both his parents gone? Ron didn't know how he continued to put on the brave face he wore every day and did the things that needed to be done. "He knows we're here if he needs us." It was really the best thing Ron could think of to offer Jamie, they couldn't change things, they couldn't take away Jamie's responsibilities, all they could offer was support if Jamie needed it.
