"Does she respond to anything else around her? Cold wind? A lighted candle? Is she lying in bed or staring off into space?" Margot asked, trying to get as much information at possible. "Have you given her anything?"
She thought it was a positive sign that his mother wasn't trying to hurt herself or other, but she did agree that the situation was a little odd. "If not prompted, does she do anything on her own? Use the toilet? Move around the rooms?"
From the way Lori was describing the situation, it seemed to her to be depression or some sort of post dramatic stress along with grief. She knew that Lori had recently lost his brother and father only months ago and now the deaths of his mother's closet friends; it was all catching up.
