Smiling softly, Remus let his head fall back and his eyes close once more, allowing the motion of Regulus' fingers relax him in ways the soothing warmth of the water couldn't. It was strange, but sleep wasn't half as tempting without Regulus there in the tub with him.
"Beds are an acceptable alternative," he teased, not bothering to open his eyes, trusting in ways that had been unknown to him a year earlier. "I'm sure I can think up ways for you to make it up to me after I think up all the ways I have to thank you. I'm going to have plenty of time for it, from the sound of it." The words were said without heat, however, as it was difficult to be annoyed with the man who was doing all of this for Remus' sake.
"I would never call you stubborn. Gryffindors are stubborn," he clarified with a smirk. "I would never dream of comparing you to a Gryffindor." The smirk softened back into a true smile at the thought of seeing Regulus later in the day. Such a simple thing, yet he couldn't deny the happiness just spending time with Regulus brought -- or even just knowing Regulus would be there even if Remus was still asleep at the moment. "Well, I suppose I should get out, then, so you won't have to worry."
