Alastor hadn't expected anything but that confirmation. If they hadn't been willing to go after Potter, they couldn't risk it for Vance, either. And Alastor wasn't going to let his heart have a say in this. He couldn't risk it.
"True." Alastor didn't argue the organizational details. He knew he was tired. It was why he asked for confirmation from the other man in the first place. "We'll have to consider changes to all the routines over the course of the next day, sort out which can be modified and which need to be fortified due to being unable to change them." But, they were not immediately damaging in the next couple hours, so he wasn't going to belabour the issue. And, really, he'd never thought their identities would remain secret for long.
"Right. Then if there's nothing more we need to cover immediately, we should go to Jamie. His brother-in-law has already received the news from the outside and urging us to hurry it up." Alastor barely refrained from rolling his eye as he turned toward the door.
