For one brief second, Al thought that it was fortunate that Lily wasn't here with them now, because at the moment Jamie looked so tired after delivering the news to Al already and if Lily was in the castle, they would have had to tell her too.
As his brother leaned forward, Al held onto Jamie. He inhaled and the front of Jamie's robe smelled like Mum's perfume.
"I'll find you," he nodded. "The elves know Severus too, pretty well," Al supplied automatically, thinking of the wide-eyed elf delivering the news of the attack. "I suspect they are good at identifying us all by the shape of our ears and noses, by now."
