Sirius did the transfigurations, and helped James lay Ginny down on the created bed. It pulled at his heart hearing James speak to his mother now, that he hurt so much over this.
All of this had been wrong for so long now, Sirius had just accepted that as a fact of life now. Nothing was as it should have been. James looking like that, bent over his mother's body the pain clear on his face was more than just wrong, and Sirius didn't know how to fix it.
He wrapped his arms around James just as tightly - rubbing his back and let James hold him as long as he needed to. "Do you want to stay here?" He asked. "I can find Harry and Al, I'll bring them back, you can stay if you want." He told him, he brushed his thumb across James' cheek. "I can do this for you."
