That wasn't true. People always stared; they were all used to it by now, but it wouldn't happen tonight. He wouldn't let it happened. He hadn't done anything to safe her, but he would at least do this for her.
James nodded, because they needed to tell them, and that was the only thing that could make him move, even if his body protected. It was fine, right there on the floor, but duty called, and he stood up slowly, adjusting her body so he could carry her. There would be no magic for this. He would carry her himself.
"Find me a room, Sirius. Please." They needed somewhere private, somewhere where she could be at peace.
