The sentry guard on the fifth floor felt the change in the air. Everything was colder. He even felt colder and miserable. He wasn't supposed to leave his post, but he knew that something was wrong, and he needed to find out what.
He cast the disillusionment spell. It wasn't perfect. It wasn't even good, but it would have to do. The shadows and knowledge of the castle helped him get close enough and then he went back, calling the house elves, and starting the security procedures for an attack inside the castle.
