"Well then I'll agree with you on that one, and I hope you managed it." He said with a chuckle. But who could blame a portrait for having outdated ideas of what people ought to be doing? Caradoc had no doubt that every single portrait in this castle was older than anyone who was currently residing there - with the possible exception of the headmaster portraits he'd seen once.
"That is a very good way to describe it." Caradoc agreed after a moment. "Being here, it doesn't feel right - we should be out there fighting this, not holed up just waiting to be picked of at his convenience." He sighed, not really planning on getting into his criticisms of the war effort with Margot of all people.
"So you've told me, but as I have yet to see them they are and shall remain so-called dragons." He teased her grinning. "Here in the castle?" he asked her and shrugged. "I've all ready got the best job from what we have to choose from, but if things were a bit more free I'd be quite happy to do a bit of my own work outside the castle walls."
