Callum grinned. "I'd start yelling and start a fake row, but I'm sure everyone is properly chastised for the night and hiding at the moment. I'd make a scene at the wedding, but I haven't been invited, so you'll just have to be a good little actor, or we show up together and not talk most of the night. You can bitch about how I treated your family, and how we argued afterwards, and how we disagreed about Al, and now we're barely speaking. Really inviting me was a desperate move."
He blew Charlie a kiss. "You love me so much. No wonder you want to marry me."
He nodded. "Okay, but don't worry too much. We'll fix this and the longer they stay away, the easier things are for all of us."
