"Yes, alcohol, marriage, cross dressing, a death wish," he said, grinning. It was just too easy to joke with Charlie and he didn't even try to stop. It helped with his mood. The longer they talked, the less he wanted to hurt someone.
"Good, because we don't want things to spread around." He shrugged. "Are they going to change their minds any time soon? If you think that you can talk to them and fix that, then fine. If not, well you now if this started a terrible row, and now we are barely talking, pretending for the kiddies. You know it's really horrible that they destroyed your one chance at true happiness and the only stable relationship you've ever wanted." He smiled. "Don't prank them; make them feel miserable."
He smiled, satisfied. "Why, thank you. It's so good that you can see my best qualities. It makes for a better marriage."
Callum sighed, trying to be philosophical about this. "I'm not really worried about everyone else, just Al, but if they did, I suppose that our eventual split, will just make them feel even worse."
