Charlie shrugged, "If I'd known we'd have to deal with a stampede of them down here, believe me I would have warned you." But Charlie liked to believe the best in people, especially his family - and he liked to think they respected the rules he set, of course tonight showed him just how wrong he'd been about that.
He shook his head. "I told you, Weasleys mate for life, part of that is marriages. They wanted us to know they're fine with it, even if it can't be a real one right now." Charlie shrugged still baffled by the entire experience that night. "It used to be legal." Charlie told Callum, unsure if he knew or not about the change in the law. "My nephew was married, at least for several months, to Sirius Black. Of course the change of regime has made any marriage that can't produce pureblood children illegal, but I imagine that'll be changed when this is all over - and then of course they'll be planning the real wedding for us."
"That obvious?" Charlie asked, he huffed out a short breath when he sat down after a moment of debating, this whole thing was just ridiculous. "He was being an arse, I should have hexed him." Charlie sighed, maybe at the wedding. "Apparently I've forgotten how to party, and I've lost my sense of humor or something. I'm his younger brother so I should just do what he says all while he's undermining me at every possible opportunity." Charlie was going to get on a roll if he wasn't careful, and he really didn't want to start sounding like a petulant child about this whole thing.
