"Rose's wedding was nothing like a proper party," Bill said, though he kept his voice low so that Rosie couldn't hear him. "It only lasted through dinner and some dancing and there were no pranks. Really what kind of party is that?" He grinned, bit then grew a lot more serious as his brother went on.
"You know that's not what we wanted to do," he said still speaking quietly. "Look, I'm sorry we came down here if it bothers you this much. You've never minded a prank before, and what do you expect when we hear you're getting married and haven't told anyone you're even involved? honestly I thought you were pulling our legs."
"Can't you let it slide this once? I'll help you make everyone leave if you insist, but this is the first bit of real fun we've had in ages. No one will go outside, we won't bother the dragons, we'll have some cake, a drink, then get back on our brooms and leave." In the end of the day, no matter how much he liked a good prank, he would always back up Charlie if he wanted him to. If Charlie couldn't see the fun of it he would back off. For now. He still thought his brother needed to relearn some of his old humour.
