Bill raised an eyebrow, and he knew his brother well enough to know he was taking the piss out of him at the moment. Or rather, Cal did and Charlie was playing along.
The bloody buggers wanted to get rid of them! Well he wasn't having that.
"Really, what do you take us for?" Bill asked. "We of course asked him to join, but he didn't seem interested in a dress," he said with a completely straight face. "Marlene thought it was hilarous, she has a much better sense of humour than Moody."
He moved closer. "If you ask me, I think he was a wee bit upset that you've been keeping this a secret, but that's just my interpretation," he said. "He'll come around when he sees how happy the two of you are."
"Now seriously," he added. "We need to get you dressed so you can cut the cake and have a drink." He grabbed Charlie, and if Charlie once had been stronger than him, it wasn't the case now. Having ugly scars was good for one thing at least. Pulling Charlie out into the room he summoned the clothes and put them in his hands. "There now, get dressed, little brother."
"You used to know how to party, besides we can all use some fun." Now that was an argument that was more truthful than anything. "It will be a nice break."
