"You know for a minute there I almost hoped they would." Charlie replied with a grin, it was stupid of course, but he couldn't help but hope that this could have been just a bit easier. "You make it sound like it would be such a terrible thing to sound like your brother." Charlie smirked. "He's not all bad, but you're right the dragons will be a very big advantage to us if we ever get the chance to use them."
"I think I would have had to start sending them back if they kept that up." Charlie shook his head, it was one thing getting rid of a whole body - sure it was unappealing, but not so unappealing as getting rid of only part of a body. "Yeah, I think we all needed a little down time, after the wedding next week everyone who didn't get a chance to have time off should get a day up at the castle." They'd keep them all busy in the mean time, but Charlie knew they all needed a little time off. If only to see that things weren't nearly as terrible down here at the dragon camp as compared to the castle.
"Oh sod off you're madly in love with me, you're just afraid to admit it." Charlie grinned though. He had gotten incredibly lucky with Callum, the man was easy to work with and even easier to get along with once he'd gotten on their side. And it made everything about this so much better to deal with, or he might have been saying he wished he could be up at the castle with the rest of them.
