She couldn't believe that Harry would make such generalisations. "I'm sure plenty of marriages on the outside are based on the same faulty notions that are being used here. Women are taught that they need to marry their Prince Charming, when in fact, marriage was invented to transfer ownership of a woman from her parents to her husband. These fairy tales we tell our daughters are no better than the fairy tales that Riddle tells his supporters, except he wants to kill others while we kill our daughters' independence."
She shook her head. "No, you can't. Reinstating the marriages will not work with the way our marriage spell works. You can't reinstate a spell. Once it's ended, it's ended."
