James knew his brother too well not to be afraid when he opened his mouth. Normally it wouldn't be a problem, but the combination of Marlene's type of humour and Al's literal approach to everything made for some explosive discussion, and he wasn't wrong.
"I don't think we want to tell Rose about sex," he said. "You're likely to give her another nervous breakdown."
He groaned when Al went on. "See what you started?" he told Marlene with a roll of his eyes. Hours? Good god, he'd get bored within the first one. "That's not what she meant. It's a job, a very bad one if I might add. It's not my fault she needs chocolate, flower, a film and still need prep to get off. Maybe Alastor needs those books if it's taking so long to get off."
