George + Craig
George had never been fond of weddings, and he still found it surreal he'd had something like this of his own. And with Angelina of all people. In the brief times he'd thought about marriage, he'd always seen himself with Katie or Alicia, or Lee. Angelina had been Fred's. In a way that sounded less like she was property though.
As it was, he was craving alcohol by the time the ceremony ended, but all they had was flavored water, and he didn't even allow himself that, knowing his brothers' eyes would be on him. The potions in his hidden pocket were a constant presence, soothing his nerves when he felt like he was going to stretch so tight he'd break. He hadn't touched them, he wasn't an addict, but knowing they were there reassured him that he still had control over his life.
He reached for the glass of water, and glanced around the table. Fred and Alex were there, and things were still weird but he and Fred were working together. He still didn't know what to say to Alex. There were three other blokes there, all around his age, and he turned to the one sitting beside him. He was good looking in an outdoorsy way, and George grinned.
"So, did we know each other when I was a boring adult?"
