Summary: Josef gets tired of the silly fights in Britain and contacts Blaise to bring some stability.
Josef was looking at reports from England and the anger boiled inside of him, threaten to surface at any moment. Fucking wizards! They were so closed minded and short sighted. He had been one of them long ago, but four centuries had taught him that you couldn't hold to the past. Things evolved and people did too. Blood purity was another fantasy that pureblood had. Josef could attest from personal experience that human blood was so much sweeter.
Truth be told, he didn't give a damn about the British or their internal civil war. He only cared about his money. Wars were bad for business. His British investments were already suffering and if left unchecked, it was only a matter of time until this spilled into the international arena, or worse the Muggle one, and there was no way that he'd let some insignificant teenager with dreams of immortality fuck with the investments of real immortals: the vampires. His company hadn't only made him rich, but it also worked as a cover for many of the old vampires, the ones who truly counted. A puny wizard would not mess with them.
It was time to take action. First, he'd have to find a pureblood inside the organization. God, he really hated that. Most vampires forgot all about their blood around their fiftieth birthday and he didn't trust a young vampire, but he'll have to find someone, maybe a consort. Second, they needed a way to affect the internal politics. Britain was getting annoying with his continuous squabbles. What the fuck was wrong with these people?
Josef would not let himself be distracted by their stupidity. No, he needed a way and there was one effective way: control their economy and their housing directly. He'd build them a town, away from the fight, let the two side kill each other and if things didn't go his way, he'd send his vampires in to kill the rest, after the ranks on both sides had been trimmed. He also had the right person in mind to make first contact: Blaise Zabini. The man was ambitious, but not enough to be an obstacle, and they had dealing when he was Secretary of State. It was time to end this war.
Dear Mr. Zabini,
I'm looking to create a new wizarding town in England. It's a grand plan that my company has accomplished in other countries.
The town would have all the attraction of the Muggle world without any of the technology. As you know vampires don't have the same restrictions on charming Muggle objects. In addition, it would continue to have all the things one would expect in a wizarding city.
My company looks forward to discussing the possibility with the administration, decide on tax abatements, possible incentives for relocation to create a safe and modern environment. Of course, the city would be in England, close to London and away from the hostilities.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
József Khuen von Belasi
