"We've been busy with a war, Rose. I know that's an inconvenience for you, but some of us have fought one already, and actually know how to prepare for a second." She sighed. "Well, I'm sorry if most people find their work tedious. I find it amazing and entertaining and invigorating. I like to work; I love to work. It's fun and rewarding." Hermione sighed. "You aren't a disappointment. I just... I don't want you to turn into your grandmother, focusing on her family, nagging her children making them want to move away. I want more than that for you."
Years of experience made sure that she didn't need to write all of this down. She could do it later. "Seven is fine. Jasper would be family, considering that he's Bryn's brother. I'll see what they can do about Ben, and Neville and Hannah won't be a problem." She was trying to mentally recall people's schedule. "Sirius is working and so is Lucy, but maybe they can stop by during dinner. James and Lily are working, too, although I'm not sure you consider them family. I think everyone else will have no problem. The roses can be spelled to be any colour you want. Is there anyone else who's not family that you want there? Anyone from the Order?"
