Lex laughed at her answer. "That's a good idea. You haven't said what options you are looking at. Is there anything in particular you'd like to do? Or is it any job that doesn't take you to the ministry."
He snorted. "That wasn't the word I wanted to use, but it's certainly more appropriate in a public setting. However, I also don't see the reason to use any spell to make a point. Logic and common sense should be enough."
He shook his head. "I didn't mean that she would think that, but children's logic isn't always the same as grown ups. Now they are old enough to understand, but when they are younger, it's easier to make the connection between marriage and mother." He probably was a very dull man. "I attend the social events, but otherwise, I work, or I'm with my children. I have so little time as is, that going out and dating haven't been an issue since before I got married. I wouldn't even know what to do for fun anymore. What about you? What do you do for fun?"
