"Probably the fact that they didn't try to be more prominent. None of the old families were very forth coming. The only ones that were was mostly because the so-called head of the families were in jail and joined the Minister after their escape from Azkaban," he reasoned.
He shook his head. "Don't. If she tries anything, she will be killed. If she's lucky," he added darkly. "She can't stop him and if she angers him, her life will mean nothing to him. This isn't the arranged marriage of your time. If she dies, he'll find someone else."
