"Job opportunities. That's rather a sudden change." Lex had gotten the distinct impression that Belvina had found working to be an insult to her name, something he didn't understand, but to each his own. However this change in plans had happened while strange things were happening, including two weddings in a few weeks.
"I do hope that nothing is wrong. No impending engagements?" he asked, trying to sound just curious and not worried. At this rate, they'd start marrying off children.
