"You shouldn't be disappointed. We're working this through. It's not easy for either one of us, but we're still talking and trying. I think that's all we can do." He hoped Remus would see this and not turn this into some king of personal failure, when it wasn't.
"Well, that was still brilliant," he said, laughing. "That was really amazing, and I'm not afraid that we can't do it again. I know we can, and I mean that intensity not the bite," he specified, knowing that it was important for Remus to have only one permanent mark.
"But it's not just that, is it? I'm not dismissing it or ignoring it, but it's not just pleasing me. You said that 'he's been waking up to himself'. What does that even mean? and how does that tie into wanting to please me?" He was trying to make sense of all this and for the first time since meeting Remus, he hated the fact that they didn't have real information on werewolves. "How much is it you and how much is the wolf? And... I mean if we look at wolves, the alpha male will be nicer or defer to the alpha female only when she's pregnant or just gave birth, so there's a need to please, but the underlying dominant trait is still there, and shut up, I've been reading because Patrick's research sounds like crap. It's like he's reached the conclusion before doing the research, and it's easy to make it work with all these new werewolves, but anyway, does this even translate from wolves to werewolves?"
No matter how much he was thinking about this, the reaction was instinctual as Remus talked about the mark, bruises and his reaction to them. It was so easy to simply open up to Remus, relaxing against him. There was no need of spells and blindfolds, nothing but them. "You tell me that you want something works better than cuffs," he said, nipping at Remus' lips.
"Fuck control. If that makes you sound like you're teaching a class, then I don't want that. I don't think you want that, or it didn't sound like you wanted that. We can go with instinct and desire instead. The problem is that you are afraid to go with that instinct and desire," he said. "What I've wanted for you to let the werewolf be in control, even if it's utterly uncontrolled, and not chain up those feelings. I want to feel through your hands and mouth what you are feeling, I want to share that intensity that exist in your head, because it's rich, powerful and beautiful. I don't want you to think more; I want you to think less."
