"We'll see." Even if it was impossible to avoid the subject or the people outside these walls, Remus would see to it he never mentioned them while they were in these rooms. He didn't like thinking there was something he couldn't talk to Regulus about. But, if it kept his lover from being distressed, it was a very tiny sacrifice in the greater scheme of things.
Biting back his millionth sigh of the night, Remus got up and walked back to where Regulus stood. Cupping Regulus' cheek, he kissed him softly and then let go, not wanting to have Regulus move his touch again. He couldn't take that. But, he knew a kiss didn't lie, at least not his. "I don't know, either," he admitted softly. "I hate this, feeling like we can't talk about something. But, at least right now, it doesn't seem like talking is getting us anywhere. So, go take a walk and clear your head if that's what you need. I'll be here waiting up for you when you get back."
