It was hard for him to admit that he'd been wrong, but he wasn't a hypocrite. "I had my doubts at first, but Dom's pretty good up there. They all are."
He hoped that's all his Dad wanted to talk about, and there wasn't anything wrong with his own work on the reserve. They were all working as hard as they could, and he couldn't think of anything he'd done that might bring about a reprimand. He'd even started making an effort with the other trainers, and found most of them to be pretty interesting.
