"Well how about I pay you seven and half pounds, which works out to be one and half galleons an hour, plus tips? That's what my other bartender makes and it wouldn't be fair of me to pay you more or less," Hannah reasoned.
She smiled at Ben. "Really, I had no idea. I don't remember your parents being musical but perhaps it's just me getting old and forgetting," Hannah said, rolling her eyes.
"I've been thinking about doing something like that at the Leaky. Maybe on a friday night - letting a band come in and play. What sort of music do you guys play?"
Hannah had thought of something traditional - perhaps an Irish folk band. At least she could say she asked Ben even if he didn't play that sort of music.
"Tonight...tonight would be great, actually. It'll be slow from here until probably around six when people get off work. If you wanted to stick around and get comfortable I'm not going to stop you. I'll start you on the clock now if you'd like?"
