She rolled his eyes. "Whatever are you saying? You must excuse me if I gave the impression of pretending to be something that I'm not. I assure that a lady would never try to fool a gentleman such yourself." She smiled at him and batted her eyes. "I do not want to look forward, but perhaps you'd like to share another glass with me."
She smiled at him. "Hey, there's nothing wrong with having friends. He likes you, and that's fine, but if it makes you feel better, I can throw your party next year."
