Re: Bellatrix and Belvina
Belvina steeled herself when she saw Bellatrix approaching but forced a small, polite smile onto her face. She didn't have to like the woman but she had to give a winning performance so that the other woman would think she did.
"Bellatrix. How we've kept missing each other," she said. "I was so upset when illness prevented me from coming to Miss Urquhart's tea party and then when Andromeda came over I was hoping I might see you but of course your prestigious position at the Ministry must mean that you're very busy."
Belvina forced herself to blush even though she was far from embarrassed. Answer? She would never have considered anything of the sort. "At the time it was complicated. Not when I was so new to this day and age. I fear that to have met you would have aroused suspicion and possibly compromised my freedom," she added conspiratorially. "However, I am glad such days are over."
At the question of how she was, Belvina decided to answer without answering. "Oh, I am well enough. Busy making new acquaintances, of course," she answered with a smile. "How are you?"
