Re: Belvina/Stephen
"Oh so you're really a tease," he said. "I should have known, but sure, when everyone is gone, we can hole up somewhere and you can tell me all about the carzy people and what you think of them."
He loved the fact that she thought ahead. "Yes, I don't think that owling him might be appropriate, however should she find them around the house and read them. Who am I to prohibit her from reading?"
Stephen was hoping that she could keep her away as well. "Give her time. Between you and my mother, I'm sure she'll start to see reason." He raised an eyebrow. "Within a year? That's very accurate. But if we look at history, she wasn't crazy, unless you count marrying a Muggleborn. Then again, with her family, I might have done it too, if it meant getting rid of all of them."
He chuckled at her assessment. "Sirius and James are very happy and James Potter is sort of the new aristocracy. If anything, it's increased the standing of the Black family. Besides, I thought they wanted to have children." He didn't mention that Regulus had gone to him, although he hadn't known it when Remus had approached him. "I believe inbreeding causes insanity and many other illnesses, but for all of their faults, I wouldn't push your relatives aside. I don't know Regulus well, but I've gotten to know Sirius and James. They aren't you, but they aren't as bad, and Sirius isn't jeopardising the family name or lineage."
