"I just ignore the general stupidity," he answered, although the wording had him on edge. No one pitied him, not even in jest.
"I'm glad you approve. Although I'm hoping that there will be one werewolf at least. However, I can see why a job would be useless in that case," he said with a tiny smile. "I believe everything we do is dependent on killing the Dark Lord. I'm hoping that we can do it before he finds a way through the spells."
Could Remus cast the Cruciatus? He wasn't so sure. "Maybe, but not under the conditions I've outlined. You might be able against someone you don't like, though. There is that darkness in you. I'm pretty sure that you could summon the right feelings for Greyback, for example." There was no judgement in his voice, just an objective analysis of the situation. "As for Moody, he's an idiot. Teach them to kill means give them a wand and let them kill things, possibly small puppies and cute animals. If they can kill those, they can kill anything. Killing people means killing people. You can't get details when you are stuck in this school and they are out there. You go, wait, see the right robes, kill them before they see you and leave. Even better if you hex them while they are walking away, less of a chance that they can hex you back. His details are good if you're planning by his rules, but you don't need them if you're striking when they aren't watching. Also coming up with those details is his job, not mine. I'm perfectly okay with going out there and killing."
"Kreacher will love what I love, so that isn't a problem," he answered. "And there is nothing faster than a house elf, Remus. They are more reliable than fire message and you can send things with them. Really, you need to rely on them more." He hoped that Sirius wasn't this bad with a house elf.
Regulus nodded. "Up to you, Remus. I don't care as long as I don't have to talk to Moody." He might have to start casting the killing curse inside the castle if he did. "We'll stay for now, and we see what happens in the coming days. Then we can decide."
