Re: Ted/Remus
Once everyone had finished questioning everything -- or simply going away muttering over incompetence as was the case with several of his regular trainees -- all Remus really wanted to do was sink into a tub of scalding hot water and he'd consider whether or not he came up for air. But, he didn't have time for getting lost in thought. He had to finish up here and make his way up to sort mail with Selwyn.
It was as he was getting ready to head to the owlery that he saw Ted sitting off to one side. Gods, that was just what he needed, shame himself in front of and disappoint his lover, while his son watched. Harry may be the one coming out of the fight with more bruises, but Remus was the one who felt like he'd had the shite beat out of him...with a pair of perfectly manicured aristocratic hands.
"Hey," he said, offering Ted a tired smile as he approached. "Needed to get out of the office a bit to work?" Nodding at the disappearing paperwork, Remus ran a hand through his hair, still coming down from the prior proceedings.
