Ted/Remus
Ted didn't need to be there, but he wanted to be. Boosting himself up to sit in one of the stone archways, he watched as the two men dueled. He could have followed his mother's and godfather's footsteps into the Aurors. He wouldn't have been half bad at it either, but watching his father and Harry toss spells at one another in rapid succession made him realize that would have been his best. Ted just didn't have the warrior's heart that was required of an Auror.
That didn't mean he wouldn't stand up and fight to the death for his family, but Ted wouldn't be leading the charge either. He was okay with that because he knew where his talents lay.
As the duel ended, Ted stayed where he was, letting speak and debate. He had nothing to add. So instead of wasting his time, he pulled out a bit of paperwork. Even if one was holed up in a magical castle taking refuge, paperwork was inevitable and Ted was not the sort to let a spare moment go to waste.
As the background noise of people talking began to fade, Ted looked up to see his father heading towards him. Putting his work away, he stood, waiting for the werewolf to speak first.
