He was surprised why Remus didn't help him up, as he would have with him, but he got up on his own and as Regulus spoke up, bit back the remark that was on his tongue. Luckily it was made easier by the fact that his voice would be raspy at best right now.
One point, in the rubbish that Regulus was sprouting, that he could admit to, was to never let a werewolf get close. Had it been anyone but Remus he wouldn't have, but that did not make his mistake smaller. He'd let Remus handle it, however, it was his lover, and he would not interfere, even if Regulus apparently had no trouble making Remus look bad in front of his trainees. He wished he could understand what made James and Remus and Sirius like Regulus - love him even - because he found it harder than he'd like to when he urge people to kill like that.
