"Well that's us, stuck with a lot of stupid kids who care more about sleeping arrangements than the dragons right outside who wouldn't think twice about toasting them." Charlie nodded when Callum mentioned the dragons they had outside. They were so much different than the Welsh Greens that Callum and Baron would have more experience working with - but they reminded Charlie of when he was young, when he was still training. "Yeah, they sort of demand a swift learning curve." Charlie agreed. "But I managed at the start, so I won't get too worried about them just yet."
Charlie considered, yeah that would probably be better - less chance of people starting to feel entitled and it would help having them working, sleeping, eating with the people on their shift so they could start learning how they worked together. "No yeah, that's probably a better idea."
He snorted as Callum got started on Dom and nodded. "Sleeping under a tree isn't a half bad idea, now that you mention it." He smirked. "Yeah I've been thinking about replacements, if only to have a few spares if we ever need them." Charlie nodded. "We'll give her some time though, but I'm not about to get anyone killed just so she can stick around out here and prove something." Charlie hoped Callum and Baron were wrong about Dom, that she could do this whether or not she was a woman or a werewolf, but he wasn't going to get her killed over it either.
