Bella joined the chuckle, smirking. "Perhaps I just know you too well." And after having him in the house she knew him even better than she had before. "Though reading your mind would be interesting," she said, studying him with an interested expression. She was sure Walden's mind was quite interesting.
She smirked, rolling her eyes. "So innocent," she said. "Almost too much so, but I suppose it's not a bad thing. Her husband can teach her what he wants her to know." Just like she and Rabastan had taught Lilith.
She shook her head. "No, unfortunately he's not with us any more," she said. "But his family is doing well for itself. They have yet to forget their loyalties." She was about to go on when an the house elf appeared, handing a notice to Bellatrix, bowing so deep its ears touch the ground. She snatched the parchment from it and it vanished with a pop. A moment later she had read it, the expression on her face completely different than a moment before as she handed the notice over to Walden.
"How dare they?" she asked, putting her glass down so hard some of it spilled onto the table. "They certainly will regret this when we find out who it is," she fumed, pacing the room. "I will personally cut their hearts out, slowly."
